Scope of this Standard

Specifies requirements for the construction, dimensions and mechanical and electrical properties of non-armoured polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulated cables for operation at voltages up to and including 450 V a.c. to earth and 750 V a.c. between conductors, intended for electric power, lighting and internal wiring.
